- Can’t recall a player being as raw and real after a game as Travis Grayson. On way to locker room, Brandon Newman was embracing him, trying to comfort. No less emotional 45 minutes later. Carried team all season, simply was crushed he didn’t drag it across line. Ultimate respect.
- Griffith principal Brian Orkis: All 27 players, coaches, staff accounted for. Grateful, bc could've been worse. "We could be grieving."

- Alec Peters OUT for rest of season, per sources. 2nd opinion confirmed he needs more time to heal. End of great college career. #Valparaiso
- Valparaiso wins the Class 5A state title! Final score: Valparaiso 35, Whiteland 31 Rocco Micciche 11-yard TD catch from Justin Clark with 19 seconds left. Unbelievable! Vikings win their second state championship, adding to the one from 1975.

- #Valparaiso will play at #Purdue on Dec. 7, Northwestern at Allstate Arena on Dec. 14, per source. Ball State in between on Dec. 9.

- Unreal. #Purdue, with Crown Point grad/redshirt freshman guard Sasha Stefanovic and Andrean grad/assistant coach Brandon Brantley, back to Elite 8 for first time since 2000. That Boilermakers team included West Side’s Greg McQuay and Kenny Lowe, and Andrean’s Carson Cunningham.
