I’ve spent the last few days trying to process exactly what I witnessed this season with the 2025 Ole Miss football team. I think it was the best story I’ve ever had the privilege of telling.

Lane Kiffin, on getting 240 people in the program vaccinated: “I don’t want to get into a big argument about what's right or wrong, but I think it’s irresponsible not to” get vaccinated.
Just an incredible moment on Finebaum a few minutes ago.
Caller, yelling into background: WILL YOU SHUT UP I’M TRYING TO TALK TO PAUL
Paul: Who exactly were you yelling at?
Caller: MY DAMN CAT
Ole Miss WR coach Derrick Nix served as head coach during today’s scrimmage, and @Lane_Kiffin was the WR coach for the day. Following the scrimmage, Kiffin explained why, and he did not mince words: There need to be more opportunities for minority coaches in college football.
Lane Kiffin was asked about this and gave a response that can only be described as an all-timer. You’ll see that this quote is divided into three separate parts — That’s because Kiffin went back and brought up more times when staffs he was part of beat Venables’ teams/defenses.
#Sooners coach Brent Venables reflecting on the Ole Miss loss during his Sunday coach's show:
"I felt like we were the better team, but at the end of the day, it's a game of performance and executing and I thought they out-executed us."
