We are aware of a video showing a coat robbery on Metro yesterday. Two juvenile suspects were arrested in Maryland for unrelated crimes, and we are working with the Attorney General’s office in DC to file additional charges in relation to the coat robbery. #wmata

Last night during fare enforcement at Navy Yard station, MTPD stopped a 28-year-old for fraudulent use of a Kids Ride Free card, which is intended for DC students ages 5-21. Misuse of those fare cards is fare evasion and will not be tolerated.

MTPD arrests suspect armed with loaded shotgun aboard an X2 route bus. Plain clothes officers working bus enforcement detail stopped the suspect for fare evading onto the bus. After the suspect refused to comply, officers arrested him, & located the weapon under his coat. #wmata
