    To those policing protest today - you remained professional & very restrained despite the level of hostility/attack/verbal abuse. 23 officers injured doing their job over the last few days. Yet they will continue each day to go out & keep our streets / health safe. Heroes💙^kf

    It is with great sadness that we announce that PD Lennie, who retired only 3weeks ago, passed away this morning in his handlers arms! He had served London for 8 yrs, working tirelessly to keep us all safe. Our thoughts go out to his handler & family, he will be truly missed!

    We are very grateful for the expressions of sympathy and support since we announced the sad passing of a police horse, PH Sandown, at Notting Hill Carnival last night. Sandown was a huge part of the Met's Mounted Branch family. He will be dearly missed. news.met.police.uk/news/death-of-…

    It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the news of the sudden passing of one of our very own serving dogs whilst on duty. 6 year old PD Xavier Charles aka "Stanley" was one of the very best police dogs who worked across London ...1/3

    ^8608CO...The metropolitan police's oldest working police dog Mildred aged 11 booked on for her last shift today before retiring on new years eve. A passive scanning drugs dog Mildred has had over 3000 detections in her service. #teamwork #dogoftheday #retirement

    It's with the greatest of sadness to announce that PH Keston has passed away. PH Keston regularly escorted HM The Queen on various state events and other high profile occasions. He was a real crowed pleaser with people around London. Thank you for your service Keston. Rip.

    Apologies this was accidentally deleted. PH Urbane from Bow was attacked by a dog in #VictoriaPark yesterday. We cant stress enough how important it is to keep dogs on a lead if you can't recall them. Huge thanks to members of public who tried to help.

    PH Urbane has always been a dog lover and continues to recover really well. Despite his recent experience he was still desperate to say hello to our Equine Dentist’s dog today. Thank you for all the continued questions and well wishes regarding him! ^5064CO 🐴❤️🐶
