    Due to reports of disorder and arranged rave type meets in Formby/ Crosby we have been Policing the beach tonight. Groups of youths have been dispersed, fires put out, alcohol seized and arrests for possession of drugs and drink drive #Staysafe #PSPO #TidyBeach

    Officers from South Sefton Community Policing Teams have raised £250 for The Mersyside Police Dog Benvolent Fund, by holding a tuck shop at Marsh Lane station. Insp Jones and Con Thompson are seen here handing the money over to Insp Rooney alongside PD Celt at the dog section.

    Today we partnered with our colleagues @LancRuralPolice for a day targeting rural crime on and around the Cheshire Lines path in #Maghull We also had assistance from @MerPolMounted 🐎 and Lancs used their drone to spot issues from above.

    PC Alan Thompson of the Sefton Community Team has donated £250 from the charity tuckshop he runs to @SFoodbanks Originally the donation was destined for the @JC23Foundation however @Carra23 kindly requested the money go to the foodbanks instead during the pandemic crisis 👏👏

    Dispersal Zones have been put in place for the weekend in the #Crosby and #Waterloo areas . The zones run from 0800hrs Saturday 4th July until 0759hrs Monday 6th July. These will allow Police to disperse groups of 2 or more causing or likely to cause ASB.

    Officers ran an operation at Burbo Bank in #Crosby over the weekend.  2 males were arrested on suspicion of supplying psychoactive substances/ possession of offensive weapons. 30 motorists were dealt with for traffic offences with numerous breath tests being conducted.

    Con Thompson who runs the tuck shop at Marsh Lane Neighbourhood Office has donated £250 to the Neonatal Unit at Liverpool Womens Hospital to purchase a new cot bed.
