    Phew. Getting discharged from hospital today. It's been a tough and fraught week. Recovery will not be fast, but I'll get there. And I've got much better TP at home! Thank you @nhsuhcw , exemplary as always. #bowelcancer #stoma #reversal #norectum #NHS

    #bowelcancer It's been over 8hrs since I last had a poo. And I slept a whole night with no waking last night to empty my bag; I now don't have a bag, or stoma. Some days are still troublesome. But we live for the future. Some kinda normal hope. #stoma #stomareversal #getchecked

    First ride post-op. Only 10k, baby steps. #ActiveRecovery after surgery for #cancer patients is one of the most beneficial things you can do. A little trepidation at first, once moving, it felt ace. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿšด #cancer #BowelCancerAwareness #stoma #condorcycles #titanium #cycling

    Now I'm home I'd also like to share that the excellent #cancer care has been jointly provided by MDT's at @OUHospitals & @nhsuhcw . Both treating patients with latest gold std pathways for best outcomes. Highly recommended if you need to refer your case. #NHS

    Phew. Thus ends 5 weeks of daily radiotherapy. 3 more days of chemo. Then the climb back to health ready for operation. 21 weeks treatment! Glad that's done. #cancer #GetCheckedEarly
