The problem is, they didn’t know about that @FAMU_1887 Rattler Strike...when the dark clouds gather on the horizon...when the legs sinews in the chest grow weary, and the legs get tired...
I just watched this entire interview and…we need to talk about @BretBaier. In 2016, I ran Comms at DOJ and set up an interview for AG Loretta Lynch with Bret. The Bret Baier who interviewed @KamalaHarris is NOT the man who interviewed AG Lynch. I found the interview. 🪡🧵 1/6
That said, @KamalaHarris handled that interview with grace, poise, and the toughness I want to see in my next President. Poor little tink tink @BretBaier wasn’t ready. Bless his lil heart (he’s from NC so he knows EXACTLY what I mean). -Fin-
I don’t watch @FoxNews so I don’t know if he has completely turned into a shill for Trump, but I am honestly surprised by how totally and utterly disrespectful @BretBaier was to VP Harris because I was there for this Lynch exclusive interview. What happened to him? 5/6
He was direct. He pushed and prodded. But he was respectful. Jovial, even. He never interrupted her once. The difference in his approach to these interviews could not have been more stark. 4/6
I have known @TiffanyDCross for nearly 20 years, since we were both babies, obviously. The atrocious smearing of her name and reputation is telling me a lot - and none of it is about Tiffany.
This 19-minute interview was aired at the top of his show with no commercial breaks. It was pre-recorded as if it was live and ran in its entirety. I negotiated the terms, prepped the AG and sat in for the interview. 2/6
Bret asked all the tough questions. AG Lynch had lengthy answers at times, but said very little - as was her mandate as AG. She could not talk about the highest profile issue of the time - the Clinton emails. He asks about this at around the 7:20 mark. 3/6
As a former DOJ Spox, I am flabbergasted by this. Does anyone think I could have gone to CNN after being spox for Loretta Lynch? Anyone? No? Me either. 1/
Thank you, @chrissyteigen for sharing your story. I also had a medically necessary abortion that I called a miscarriage for many years. Your story is so powerful for helping others to understand the broad impact of abortion bans. 1/2
I could not let Twitter die before saying that I stand with @TiffanyDCross. She’s a class act and she doesn’t deserve this. Also, my Mom is pissed because #crossconnection is one of two MSNBC shows she watches. I’ll let you guess the other one.
We don't talk enough about the connection between pregnancy loss/miscarriage and abortion. People literally don't know that often the care for a woman after a pregnancy loss is an abortion. I had one after a silent miscarriage. We should talk about it more. Thank you, @GaryPeters
.@CNN should answer for this and explain to the public why anyone should trust their coverage in the 2020 cycle. Candidates should question their participation in town hall and debate events. We should all question our engagement with CNN as a “trusted news source.” -FIN-
