    We have been in level 5 lockdown conditions since Christmas and 988 positive cases today??? Wtf.. I am asking genuinely here: Why is lockdown not working more effectively? We were told this would work, why isn't it? Is lockdown being adhered to? Where's the vaccine impact?

    Am very saddened and shocked to just learn of the sudden death of our local shopkeeper, Akram this morning in Centra Drumcondra. He was chasing a shoplifter when his heart gave out. Always obliging to me and the kids who adored him. He will missed. RIP Akram

    Legitimate criticism is due toward the longstanding resistence to antigen testing from public health advisors. Going from snake oil remedy to the official course of action is some u-turn.

    In 2020, we had indoor dining and drinking when no vaccination process existed. In 2021, with 4 million vaccine doses delivered, we cannot open pubs and restaurants and Nphet saying they are opposed to it in any form until end of Sept unless people can say they are inoculated?

    From what I can see an increasing number of small businesses prepared to open in defiance of covid restrictions as fruatrations mount over government plans..
