    Upgrading our rural villages The upgrade of Field Road to black top in Zenzane Village is almost complete. One of our core focuses is upgrading and maintening infrastructure.

    uMngeni Municipality has installed its first back up power system for traffic lights. The system was installed in Hilton and in the coming months the system will be rolled out to other parts of Municipality. During loadshedding, our robots will now still be operational.

    Today we visited the families of those who tragically lost their lives on the Durban Beach front. One person from uMngeni died and another is still missing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families.

    When we took over government in Nov 2021 we inherited many many problems including The Lions River community Hall. Contractors were owed millions and the project was unfinished. We managed to allocate funds to complete this project. Today we opened the hall for the community
