All the young guns everyone wants to present as the "Next One" (Booker, Ja, Tatum). With all due respect, they are on one level and Luka Doncic is on an entirely higher one

I don't think it's hyperbole to suggest that between Luka's 49 and the absurd shot he made to win the game, and the Seager and Adolis HRs to give the Rangers only their 2nd win when trailing after 8 innings that this was the greatest night in DFW Sports History.

The Clippers didnt respect the game all season. Were arrogant about load management and speaking only of playing to try to be ready for the playoffs. They got what they deserved. It might have even happened a round earlier had Porzingis been healthy

One man's opinion. The owner/GM should not be holding a post game news scrum (win or lose), and we, in the media, should never be party to this. There is no one in professional sports who does this.

Congrats to my man @MFollowill. Tough to get the late call and you're filling in for a HoFer in Mike Breen but the nation got to see what Mavs fans see 70+ nights a year and without having seen it myself, know it was straight up greatness

There is no one. Absolutely no one in @nba that loves the spotlight and the pressure that goes with it more than Luka Doncic. You just knew he was going to come out and do this. And if you didn't. You haven't watched him closely enough

My Mom, Judy, died this morning at age 84. With that, I obviously have some business to attend to the next few days, so I will not be working tomorrow or (if the Mavs play G5), Thursday. You will be in the most capable hands possible w/@MFollowill whom I can't thank enough.

Did the Mavs just fire a warning shot to the rest of the West?

There has never been a sports night in Dallas like we're about to experience on Sunday. Not one but TWO Game 7s. How incredibly awesome

I hope people in DFW understand what's happening here. There is a generational player in our midst and he plays for the Mavs. He is better at his sport than anyone else is at theirs and really this can't be debated. He demands your attention even if he's not playing your game

Everything Mavs fans have wished for their front office to be, they received in spades tonight. Opportunistic was not just a cheap term, it was their reality. One of the very best, most exciting draft nights in Mavs history

In Dec 2005, in 3 qtrs Kobe Bryant outscored the entire Mavs team 62-61. This was a Mavs team that went to the Finals. And it's the only time since the advent of the shot clock that has ever happened. The single greatest performance I have ever broadcast.

Completely in love with Mavs resiliency. It's Luka playing through Dort's warfare. It's Lively answering the Hack a Shaq dare. It's Washington making OKC pay for trying to close off Luka and Kyrie. The 4th qtr defense vs Shai. Now let's do it all over again on Monday. Shall we
