    I was shocked by all the comments I heard doubting @DGukesh asking if he was the real deal after winning the world championship title. Well, now that he is killing it at @tatasteelchess and knocking at the door of 2800, I am here to inform the haters: he is the real deal!

    18-year-old Gukesh Dommaraju wins the 14th and final game to defeat the great Ding Liren to become the youngest World Champion in chess history! It was an honor to be a part of such a historic match.

    No matter what happens at the @FIDE_chess World Championship, at 18 years young, Gukesh is still at least 10 years away from his peak strength as a player. Heโ€™s not a fluke, not a one and done. We are looking at a future all-time great who will be around for a long time to come.

    Magnus just played one move and resigned against Hans Niemann in the online Julius Bear Generation Cup. This is shocking and disturbing. No one can be happy that this is happening in the chess world. Unbelievable! ๐Ÿคฏ

    Gukesh defeating Magnus again shows that he is getting better at all formats. Itโ€™s still way premature to hail him as the best in the world, but give him time to grow. Chess players are suppose to peak in their late 20โ€™s, and he is only 19! ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ Exciting times ahead! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

    The great Anand inspired a nation to pursue greatness. The baton has been passed to Gukesh D, Pragg and others, but they are merely the tip of the spear. Donโ€™t be surprised if in 10 years, there are 5-10 more 2700โ€™s that emerge from India. The story has only just begun.
