    It's with sadness that I've decided to step away from @LittleOakleyFC as 1st team manager. Unfortunately due to the ill health of my wife. My time is even more precious. So I've made the difficult decision to step down. An incredible journey from when I took over.

    Only a small gesture but If any elderly relatives or neighbours are struggling with their boilers/heating etc I will make every effort to get to them to assist in anyway I can. Free of charge of course whilst this pandemic is ongoing.

    2 years ago I lost my sister. No reason, no pre existing medical condition. The biggest hole was ripped out of me that morning. Life can be taken away in a flash, so pick up the phone and call a loved one if you haven't for a while. Life's too short

    3 years ago I lost my big sister. No illness, no accident. Just shitty bad luck. I'd give anything for one last phone call. My only advice is to pick up the phone and call that loved one whilst you still can. One day itll be the last time you ever will. Life is precious

    Tough day today. 5 years ago I lost my big sister and tbh never really got over the pain of it. My family is my everything, but I also surround myself with good people. The @LittleOakleyFC club, squad and management keeps me focused. Surround yourself with good people. It helps

    Nothing but pride tonight for this @LittleOakleyFC squad. A small village competing in a national competition is amazing but to achieve what we have is incredible. Immensely pleased for @kenalda and Michael years of hard work to get the club here. Up the acorns! #inthehat

    What a week for us all @LittleOakleyFC PPG confirmed ✅ Invited to apply for promotion to step 5 ✅ Ground grading passed ✅ Application done ✅ Now we wait! 3 years of hard work from the chairman and @kenalda and we've almost achieved our target of step 5 football. #acorns

    Happy to be able to say I've been signed off and passed my #UEFAB course today. Fantastic course run by @SuffolkFA , huge thanks to @7Godders @lannydaws and Scouse for their knowledge and guidance. A very enjoyable journey! Added bonus of meeting some top coaches along the way ⚽

    Couldn't be prouder of my players today. Left it all on the pitch and almost nicked a replay in the last second. Credit to @OfficialClarets as a club today. Treated us with respect all day. An unbelievable journey for us all @LittleOakleyFC

    Positive end to 22. Wife's health improving and she's starting work again, new company going from strength to strength with a full looking diary! Kids happy and healthy. Time to ease back into football in '23 then re focus and pass on some energy that was sent our way in 22.❤

    Result aside 600 people watching step 6 football is unreal and makes the biggest difference to a club such as ours, so from all @LittleOakleyFC thanks to everyone who supported today.

    Today's results mean we have secured a top 10 finish in our first season at step 5 in the @EssexSenior ,A massive achievement by everyone at the club but especially pleased for the chairman(MG) who has worked tirelessly to elevate @LittleOakleyFC to this level.
