    My tough, strong, brave old dad passed away peacefully during the night. We were at loggerheads a fair bit over the years such is the nature of our family - but that doesn't mean we loved one another any less. Thanks for bringing me up as a Red Dave and may you rest in peace X

    Just for context on the commentary and anyone who doesn't like it - I have suffered from bad depression for years and still do the job to the best of my ability for a nominal fee. My dad is in a care home and has tested + for Covid and I still turned up as I don't....cont..

    This has been one of the most memorable and sensational seasons in the history of Barnsley FC and no matter what happens in the play-offs we need to savour it. The club have been a breath of fresh air in extremely testing times....the sky’s the limit. You Reds!

    I don't do religion but we've been told the next 48 hours are critical in me dad's battle against the evil disease that is Parkinson's and I'm willing him to show the strength he did when he was a 6' 3" tall 17 stone miner during the 84/85 strike. C'mon Dave lad! X

    The Reds were an absolute credit to the town and the Championship tonight. That performance will give them so much belief for the rest of the season. Very unlucky to be going out of the competition.

    Just had to ask a lad to give me some distance at the checkout in Iceland. He laughed about it with his mate so I told him to have some respect and consideration for others. Was I out of order? I feel a bit guilty now 😏

    Home after a 15 hour day. If we keep the majority of this squad together and make a few quality additions during the window then there is more chance of us finishing mid-table than in the bottom 3. Muting anyone who knocks my positivity. You Reds!

    I'm embarrassed to say this, so please bear with me and don't pass judgement. Earlier this week I was so depressed due to recent events in my life that I took an overdose of medication and let my family down. My mental health is fragile but I'll carry on and won't be beaten.
