It's... WILD WEIRD!
I have been helping my good friend, @AndySchuhler on his wonderful project called, Wild Weird.
A turn around done to explore and sell the design of Mighty and his trusty hat, Sleepy.

A lot of people asked "how did you do that" from the last post. This is the trick I learned a long time ago. It's basic perspective but it really does show how forms move in space. The trick to it is drawing an accurate top down view to reference as you turn the character.
If I am being totally honest I had NO IDEA what "Big chungus" was. I thought we were referencing the original 1941 cartoon when Bugs impersonates Elmer. It wasn't until the animation director, Spike Brandt, told me about "Big Chungus"... and I still didn't understand. I'm old--
Here is the clean-up version (by Ginny Parmele) of the only shot I did for “Pups of Liberty”. Was great to work with Bert and Jennifer Klein again. Bert is the reason I got hired straight out of CalArts on Looney Tunes: Back in Action. I had no idea what I was doing... circa 2014
OK, here we go! Mogens is the first character I even was given the responsibility to supervise on. This shot pretty well sums up the feeling of Smeerensberg and Mogen's relationship to Jesper.

Once a design is getting honed in it is common to do animation tests to test drive it. This was also done to help convince The Rock to do the voice. Animated by me

The second of the 2 Wolf shots I animated in MP Returns. In this shot I animated all three characters, I particularly enjoyed the Weasel. Eventually the Wolfs expression would be "softened" by another animator per the directors note as I had already left the project for Klaus.
