I don't even know where to begin with this, I can't lie.
Not only is the fraud rate for PIP 0%, Hugh here doesn't seem to grasp just how undignified, exhausting, and difficult it is to get PIP.
This is prime Labour in 2024: out of touch & wrongly punishing disabled folks.
Thousands of people that claim PIP arenβt disabled, thatβs the problem and has been for decades. They are scammers and fraudsters. Those that are genuinely disabled and unable to work should not be penalised. Itβs an extremely difficult issue but has to be resolved.

The OP provides no evidence for their assertion: the available evidence shows this assertion is completely untrue: From May 2024: "Zero percent fraud rate for PIP, DWP figures show"

We are disgusted by straight men calling themselves βlesbiansβ. We are even more disgusted by an βLGBTIQA+β group in a political party telling us - on βInternational Lesbian Dayβ - that we have to accept it.
Why not tell the Green Party what you think of this rank homophobia?
I've said this a thousand times before and I'll say it again:
If you are not trans, you do not have any say in what constitutes transphobia. If you are told something is transphobic by a trans person, you listen to them.
To every Labour member commenting about how bad this is: respectfully, this is what you campaigned for.
We've all known this is what this Labour administration would be like. For years.
π¨ NEW: Details of the Government's welfare reforms to save Β£6bn:
- Raise Universal Credit for those seeking or in work, but cut it for the unwell or disabled who can't work
- Make PIP harder to claim and freeze it next year so it doesn't rise with inflation

If you're on the side of JK Rowling, KJK/Posie Parker, Glinner and every politician that backs them up, this is on you.
Transphobia is a poison that needs to be stopped. Rest in Power, Brianna.
You know nothing about what's going on in Leeds right now.
You've been busy spending your time in recent days paying lip service to a certain former President of the USA across the Atlantic, and it's MASSIVELY dangerous of you to inflame a situation you know nothing about.
We deserve better than a Labour government punching down on the most vulnerable. My heart goes out to every young trans people who just lost access to gender-affirming healthcare.
Today's going to be emotional, terrifying, and distressing for many. We need to be going forwards, not backwards.
My full love and solidarity. #TransRightsAreHumanRights, forever and always π³οΈββ§οΈ
A gentle reminder that saying "solidarity with the trans community" in response to this post is meaningless.
Actions speak louder than words, which begs the question - why has no action *whatsoever* been taken against transphobic rhetoric & dog whistles from sitting Labour MPs?
Rights aren't a zero-sum game. This isn't poker.
We need a positive, progressive alternative to the tepid centrist politics that have given the far right a way in. That alternative MUST include unequivocally standing up against transphobia.
As Pride Month begins, don't forget:
π³οΈβπ Protecting queer lives is just as important as celebrating queer joy.
π³οΈββ§οΈ There's no LGB without the T, we need you to stand with us.
β The first Pride was a riot & we're not going to make any change without noise: use your voice.
Yet again I have transphobes dogpiling me in my mentions, spewing hate not only to myself but to my friends too.
That just reminds me that we're fighting the good fight, not aligning with the far right.
Solidarity with everyone affected! π³οΈββ§οΈβπ
