Today, @MassGovernor and @MassLtGov announced that we are fully funding the Student Opportunity Act-- making the largest investment in K-12 schools in MA’s history. Because when our students reach their potential, Massachusetts does too.
Today’s decision does not change our commitment to our students, especially students of color, LGBTQ+ students, first generation students, and all those historically underrepresented in higher education.
In Massachusetts – home to the first public school and first university – our commitment to equity, inclusion, and representation in education remains unshakable.

In an effort to streamline our vaccination process and coordinate with the feds, today we are announcing that educators, early educators and school staff will be eligible to sign up for a vaccine appointments starting March 11th.
Not all Massachusetts students have access to broadband internet. With schools closed in response to #COVID19, @WGBH and New England Public Media/@wgby are collaborating with @MASchoolsK12 to provide a broadcast solution to distance learning.

This morning, @MassGovernor and I joined our community college family to launch #MassReconnect, free community college for MA residents 25 and up, creating the conditions for hundreds of thousands of adults to earn their degree and build a better path forward for their families.
