    #GovRonDeSantis #BlackTwitter Gov DeSantis, when I was a little boy growing up in Florida I had to drink from the "colored " fountain at the Volusia County Courthouse. The "white "water was cool but ours was warm. This made me feel bad. May I share this with students in Florida?

    I and my son were nearly killed in Rosewood, Florida yesterday by a racist using his truck as he screamed racial insults. I was visiting my property, the only black-owned land in Rosewood. Here the Levy County police examine the scene. I reported it to the FBI as a hate crime.

    To the Levy County Sheriff I spent six years in the uniform of a United States naval officer who now, at age 82 was assaulted by a racist with a truck calling me a nigger. My disappointment is not in my country but in a sheriff's department that won't even ask me about it.

    Florida is not as Red as you may think. DeSantis barely beat a black man for governor in 2018. He won by 80,000 votes out of 8 million ballots casted. Kamala can win Florida. Let's go to work!

    Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Lavine Cava has invited Amanda Gorman to come to our county to read her award-winning poem that was restricted in a 92 percent Hispanic public school with fewer than 4 percent black students. CAN I COM E? PLEASE. I want to be "indoctrinated".

    #GovRonDeSantis #blacktwitter Gov DeSantis, when I attended school in Volusia County, I was one of the students they sent to the white school to collect their used books because they were getting new ones. This was institutional racism. Am I allowed to share that with students?

    This is the mass grave where hundreds of victims of the Ocoee Riot of 1920 are buried. Notice the sign does not say what happened to these people. Notice too that there are no grave markers. Just this open field. It happened because black people tried to VOTE.

    Casey DeSantis Florida's First Lady makes a racist fashion statement. Black babies as alligator bait was a theme in racist Florida humor of the early 1900s. It's an inside joke. If you are not from Florida, you may not get it. She does. Do you?
