    I’m sorry to say I bring some sad news. I’ve just been made aware that F. David Thorpe, who made many 1st class loading screens for #OceanSoftware and U.S. Gold & others passed away on 29th January, aged 84, after a long illness. binaryzone.org/thezone/davidt… #ZXSpectrum #RetroGaming

    I absolutely love having my #retrogaming room/museum in my house. If I'm stressed looking round it helps calm me down. If I'm bored it gives me piles of stuff2 look at or play. There's plenty of stuff in there for the odd 'project'. I have 2pinch myself sometimes that it's mine!

    I've still got piles of documents from my time at #OceanSoftware in the late 80s. It's kept in 2 folders. In the past I was ridiculed 4 keeping all this stuff. Here's some examples: Renegade (by #ZXSpectrum artist Ronnie Fowles), Wizball (by myself), both from 1987 #RetroGaming

    So who had some of these #books back in the early 80s? I didn't but my cousin did so I read his when he was out (he was pernickerty about his books!) - #TheForestOfDoom by Ian Livingstone was 1st published in1983 (&reprinted 11 times) by Puffin Books&was the3rd book in the series
