Still after 13 years, I love and miss my father daily. We did get time together, however short, but I wish it could have been different for those who didn’t. The new little family that he never met...the players that he never coached. Dad would have loved it! They would have too!

- 14 years later, I still miss my Dad every day. I loved him. We spoke daily, and though I didn’t realize it at the time, I loved those calls. I miss them and wish his grandkids were getting them. If you still get those calls, please do not take them for granted. They’re the best!!
- My father should’ve turned 70 today. While not perfect, we always just knew him as a great Dad. And from what I have gathered, he was also a true leader of men, and lover of all people. What amazing ways to be remembered. What a blueprint he left. I’m trying, Dad! Happy Birthday!
- I know that it’s hard, and sounds morbid, but don’t think of it that way! Please try to never take ‘see/talk to you tomorrow’ for granted. Every day, every moment, choose joy, be kind, laugh, hug and kiss your loved ones, tell them! We miss you. Man, you’d love these little ones!
- Folks that knew my father approach me about his integrity and how he treated people, rarely about his record or any one game. For 56 years he had an ability to make the people around him feel special. What an amazing way to be remembered after 15 years!! What a legacy to leave…
- Today is difficult, and it doesn’t really get easier from year to year, but things like this always help! Thank you so much for posting and celebrating his life. Of the many things that I remember about him, I do know this, he loved being a Deac!16 years later, we continue to remember the legacy of Skip Prosser. 🎩
- Mr. Wellman gave my father the opportunity to continue to chase his dreams, and handled a situation for which there is no blueprint with total class and sympathy when he passed. My family will forever be appreciative of both of those things. We wish him the best in his retirementRon Wellman to retire as Athletic Director and John Currie named new AD STORY: deacs.info/2TqTiGZ
- I know that he is genuinely proud of so many of his former players that are doing truly special things in their lives!! And I also know that this dude is 100% FIRED up for @CP3!!! Congrats Chris, Good Luck!!!
- Thank you for this! 🕊️17 years later, we continue to remember the legacy of Skip Prosser. 🎩
- I know that call, that feeling that comes when your world changes in an instant. I know the titles that matter to those who receive it in that moment are Dad, Mom, Sister, Brother, Husband, Wife, etc. Not Player. Not Coach. Pray for those in California and all that get that call!
- So thankful for this! We know that he is humbled and very proud to be joining the presence of not only this Hall of Fame class, but all of the wonderful folks that have been inducted! We wish that his time with @DemonDeacons could have been longer, but man, he loved every moment!
- I don’t know a lot, but I do know this... I have never been more proud of a group of young men than I am right now. I have never been more proud to be a basketball coach, and the coach @WCU_MBB. Our kids fought their hearts out. Stick with us Catamount Nation. #ItsComing
- I would absolutely NOT have gotten the opportunity to chase my dreams at a school that I love if @CoachMKYoung and @WoffordMBB had not taken a chance on a kid with no experience a long time ago! Good luck to the Terriers, we are all pulling for you. Just don’t get used to it!! 😂
