    Just going to come out and say this: Anime fans. STOP HARASSING FEMALE ACTORS IF YOU DON'T LIKE THEIR VOICES. In the past few months, we have seen the internet go crazy in support of male actors, and gang up with hate on female actors. This is NOT OKAY.

    Just a friendly reminder that media will "Call" a "winner" in the election tonight. But keep in mind that there are quite a large number of mail-in votes that will need to be counted over the next few days. We do this every time; the winner is not chosen today, nor by the media.

    Friendly reminder for all fans: Anime dubs are not affected by the SAG-AFTRA strike at this time! Please do not accuse anime dub actors of crossing picket lines or ignoring the strike. The collection of agreements in the entertainment industry is complex! :)

    Growing up, it was hard to find any Black characters in anime. You had to make someone "honorary." That's changing now as more and more POC characters are starting to show up. Great to see more POC VAs getting work, too! :D #animewhileblack

    Listen, at this point, everyone needs to just not buy attendee badges. We ALL want cons to come back. But until they're safe, we absolutely should NOT be having them, "safety measures" or no. COVID-19 is not a hoax, it's not a ploy. It's life & death.

    No one can accuse me of not trying. This "historic moment" is going to be another in a long list of times the union failed to recognize the actual threat. The technology is absolutely there, and we have given them all they need to replace us. This is a failure. Full stop.

    I'm so tired. So many people looking at the Jenny Slate recasting going "race shouldn't matter in the VO industry! This is the one acting profession where anyone can play anyone!" You're right, it shouldn't. But it does. And everyone IN the industry knows it.

    Shout out to all the voice actors who aren't popular, internet famous, don't have the "Big Roles," but keep on doing their thing for the love of the art. Especially all you internal training video folks! People may not always see your work but that doesn't make it any less valid!
