    SPORTS: Section II is moving forward with the fall season with no restrictions and a full slate of games. Section Executive Director Ed Dopp says individual schools may have restrictions with certain sports and they support that. @SaraRivest will have more @SpecNews1Albany.

    So on my run today I noticed a couple things. 1) More people out than usual walking or running (we were all keeping safe distance). 2). SMILES AND WAVES. Made me so happy. I guess we all just appreacited fresh air a little more today.

    Two days ago the Johnstown budget was voted down, likely eliminating athletics in the district. Tonight the girls lacrosse team used it as motivation to bring home a championship. @JohnstownLBLXX @JTathletics @SPECNewsAlbany

    So sad to hear about the passing of Pat Filien. Prayers are with his children Marcus and Lauren and his wife Tiffani. Sending prayers to everyone at Albany Academy, UAlbany and Bryant and Stratton too. Coach Filien always had a huge smile on his face.
