- In Donkey Kong Bananza, DK follows objects of interest with his eyes. However, he has an incredibly short attention span. Whenever a new object enters his vision, his attention is drawn to it instead. If many objects are moving, he will be distracted by each new one.

- An extremely detailed 2018 Waluigi render shows that the "Γ" emblem on his hat is a sticker, as a corner is peeling off. This suggests that unlike Mario, Luigi and Wario, who have tailored caps, Waluigi was only able to afford a cap with a blank emblem that he customized himself.
- In Super Mario Odyssey, kicking things is Mario's highest priority, overriding all other actions. If a kickable object, such as a football, is thrown at Mario while he is asleep, he will momentarily wake up just to kick it before instantly going back to sleep.

- In Super Mario 64, Bob-ombs will spontaneously explode if they approach signs. However, this only applies to signs with text on them; they are completely fine with arrow signs. This can be humorously interpreted as though Bob-ombs really hate reading.

- I have recently received inquiries about my personal collection of Mario merchandise. Below is a photo of all Mario merchandise I own. It is a single officially licensed 2011 keychain of a Wallop enemy from Super Mario 3D Land, which is of great sentimental value to me.
