00:00 - Sturgill is an absolute beast. 3 hour show. No setbreak. No encore. Barely stopped playing at all during the show. Tons of segues. Tons of extended improv. One of the best shows I’ve seen this year. Is Sturgill a jamband?
- I was inspired to donate to the campaign of @AndrewYang today. I haven’t decided who I am voting for in the primary but I feel like Yang deserves to be in the long game. Warren, Yang, Booker, Sanders, Biden, whoever comes out on top gets my vote in the general. CC: @TheBloodMD
- My oldest son Zach, the drummer, said while i was away on tour he decided to check out “A Live One” by @phish and his response “dad, I gotta admit, phish is fire.” Uh oh....

- Phish. It’s hard to put into words just how much they have shaped my life, personally, it’s how I found myself as a human being. The first time I really felt like I found my people was at Phish. Professionally, we really owe them everything for creating blazing the trail.
- All I’m saying is if you let your kid go to SPAC to see the Grateful Dead there’s a very good chance he’s gonna start experimenting with psychedelics and create a band called the Disco Biscuits.
- Phil. I’m a jamband bass player. Phil invented what we do. It can’t be overstated just how influential Phil Lesh was. It’s such a miracle that our paths crossed with Phil’s, as he took us on tour with him twice and was always so warm and welcoming. Grateful ⚡️🌹⚡️🌹⚡️🌹⚡️

- When your eye doctor tells you to increase your medical marijuana intake and your answer is “I’m not really sure that this is a possibility doc.” Weed to the rescue!
- The Disco Biscuits were on the forefront of socially distanced shows back in the 90s. One time in Memphis we only let 5 people in, could have held 500. Once we “limited” to 9 people in a Tavern in New Brunswick that held like 200. Some of our best shows ever were at 20% cap.
