- Really proud of our guys. They showed a ton of heart & composure. We played 2 really good teams on the road. Road wins are always tough but we never made excuses. Back to work on Monday. Looking forward to seeing our fans on Thursday.
- Never trust the HS rankings, always trust your eyes! A lot of dudes overhyped as usual
- When NBA personnel communicate with us, the most important question after character is, “does he love the game and get in the gym?” Next is, “does he get into the gym on his own?”
- Very proud of the way our guys responded in the 2nd half versus a very well coached MTSU basketball team. We will get back to work today and prepare for a very good UAB team. Let’s have Diddle rocking tomorrow at 2pm!!

- I remember Rick Majerus telling me the #1 quality he looked for when recruiting kids is, “do they love the game?” Liking versus loving something is a big difference

- Was talking to NBA scout earlier & he said, “1 of 2 things usually happen to those talented guys who coaches have to beg to get in the gym/work; they usually never play in the NBA or don’t last very long if they do.”
- The resiliency of @WKUBasketball is something I will never forget. They bounced back every time we fell short this season. Our seniors are some of the best kids I’ve ever been around @justin_wku23 @daddysmooth22 @dthomp15. Thank you
