    It is with great sadness that the MPD announces the death of a member our family. Officer Shawn J. Dillon assigned to our patrol division passed away unexpectedly, Friday July 8th at his home, at the age of thirty three. Rest easy brother , we have the watch from here. 🙏💙

    HEAT ADVISORY: ALL CRIMINAL ACTIVITY IS BEING PUT ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE - It is going to be extremely hot. MPD is advising all criminals to stay inside until further notice. However, if you should choose to ignore the friendly advice, officers are ready & staying hydrated

    MPD investigated a report of a stolen puppy from June 19. After an invest and assistance from tipsters, he was located safely and reunited with his family. “Bolt” became an honorary K-9 officer for the day. Detective Steve Mulcahy and K-9 BOLT 🐶🐾 🚔 ♥️#puppylove

    Today, Malden Police Chief Kevin Molis and Captain Glenn Cronin took a drive and visited Mr. Frank Miniscalco. He jumped into Normandy on D-Day with the 506 PIR 101st Airborne. His Lieutenant, Walter Gunther Jr. from Malden was killed that day ⬇️ 🇺🇸

    We Like "Good Trouble" On 04/13/2022, Det. McNeal was traveling to work & observed a "rollover" on Interstate 93 near Exit 28A. Without hesitation, Det. McNeal "activated" himself & jumped into action, assisting other first-responders in freeing a man & his dog from the vehicle
