- Today charges were announced against 3 individuals for the murder of Portia Rowland in Collinsville IL. Gary Johnson: 1st Degree Murder x2, Felon in Possession of Weapons Marty D. Shaw: 1st Degree Murder x2 Sammy J. Shafer: 1st Degree Murder x2, Solicitation/Murder for Hire x2
- The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis announces the arrest of Mike A. Clardy, 63 years of age, of Maryland Heights, in the June 2004 homicide of Deanna D. Howland in St. Louis County, MO. Please see the attached release for additional information.
- Please see an update to our Collinsville activation with the announcement of a press conference scheduled for tomorrow at 2:00 pm at Collinsville City Hall.
- UPDATE: Investigators from the University City Police Department and the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis have recovered forensic evidence that suggests the murders of Barbara Goodkins and Dr. Sergie Zacharev are linked.
- In ref to the homicide of Amethyst Killian, a suspect has been arrested and charged with her murder. He has been identified as Damion Delgado and he is currently being held at St. Charles County jail on $1 million dollar bond for Murder 1st, 2nd and Armed Criminal Action.

- Arrest made in Clayton homicide investigation. Investigators have arrested Trenell J. Johnson in the November 13th murder of Joshua D. Harris. Assistance is needed in identifying additional persons of interest. Please refer to our news release for more information.

- Major Case Squad Activation in Berkeley. At approximately 2:30 pm, the Berkeley Police Department responded to the 8300 block of Airport Road for a report of a shooting on a Metro Bus. Upon officers’ arrival, witnesses told them a man fired into the bus hitting two people.
- Calverton Park Homicide Investigation 2: Jeffrey E. Tod, 53, of Calverton Park, charged with the murder of Kenneth A. Linzie. Currently being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond.
