- After completing my tenure and serving 12 years as Director and vice chancellor of IGIDR, I will be shifting to Hyderabad. Will be joining as Distinguished Professor at ICFAI Business School and also will be Chairman of the Institute for Development Studies, AP.
- Received Distinguished Alumni award yesterday fr I’m Delhi School of Economics. Good to see DSchool and meet friends physically after a few years.
- Yesterday Dr. YV Reddy, former Governor of RBI visited our house at Hyderabad. We discussed on various issues relating to Indian Economy including his experience at RBI.

- Government should have released the data on CES even if it is not a normal year due to demon and GST. It is well known that rural areas were badly affected. What is the guarantee that 2020-21 would be normal year?Abhijit Sen: Scrapping CES means that GDP base year revision will have to wait till 2025. Changing weights in CPI will have to be put on hold.This is usually done every 5-6 years to reflect structural changes in the economy.
