- My Lakota grandmother DIED from Covid. She was our storyteller, our ceremony leader, and full of so much knowledge and wisdom passed down from her father, my Grammpa Wallace Black Elk. It makes me so mad to see ppl not take this virus/pandemic/wearing a mask SERIOUSLY.
