    Less than 12 hours after playing with Al-Hilal in Miami, Rúben Neves had flown across the Atlantic to be a pallbearer at Diogo Jota's funeral in Gondomar, Portugal. Today, he was present at Molineaux to support Jota's wife, Rute, at Wolves' tribute. True best friend. Class act.

    Lille sold Pépé for €80m and replaced him with Osimhen for €22.4m. The next summer they sold Osimhen for €70m and replaced him with Yilmaz on a free transfer. Now, Yilmaz has scored 15 goals in 25 games as Lille is on trajectory to win Ligue 1. Luis Campos is a maestro.

    So Liverpool will recycle all shirts, scarfs, flags, banners, and work of arts left by supporters outside of Anfield with the help of a specialist company - who will then use it to create a memorial statue of Diogo Jota. That’s briliantly thought out and a class act by the club.
