If you see this "poor soul" walking around a football camp, please don't let him annoy you. He is harmless, and still "livin the dream." Helping young people get better is still enjoyable. Life is good.

- My last OSU Camp this summer. Considered support staff, but Tim Hinton - Camp Director- is such a valuable part of the OSU football program. We have been friends for many years. Guess, since his Marion Harding days. Excellent motivator. He really bleeds scarlet and gray.
- Two of my favorite high school head football coaches. Mo Douglas (L) and Ted Ginn (R). Coach Ginn for about 25 years. For me, their strength is helping young African American players get better. Very good coaches, but even better promoting their players. Really appreciate them.
- Want to wish all Ohio high school players the best of health for coming season. Represent your team in character, effort, classroom, and toughness. You are playing the greatest level of football. Not NFL or NCAA. Compete. Be the best example of you.
- Because of COVID-19, college football camps are so important this June. Enjoy, but treat them like you are interviewing for a job. Be early. Be in front of the line. Best effort in every drill. Finish. Great effort. It is okay to show emotion. No excuses. Make sure to listen.
- The guy in the middle is in a linemen's challenge. Did not fake a sickness. Not go to the lake. Not stay home. Not hang out with buddies. No excuses for Luke Montgomery - one of my MSR top 5 guys. OSU commit. He COMPETED on a hot day with his team. Really appreciate him. Tough!
- I have worked with Coach Tressel for 30 years and never once asked to do a picture. I don't see him that often now, so I asked at the YSU football game. He still gets the attention from fans and rightly so. Jim Tressel is first class all of the way. I appreciate him.
- One of the college football coaches whom I have tremendous respect. Coach Fickell and I have been friends for years. Enjoyed my visit at the UC football practice. Thanks to Greg Gillum and Luke. The very best to UC against Alabama.
- just over 2,000 campers at Kent State's Mega Camp. Tremendous organization. Plus, a ton of talent from Ohio and the Midwest. All levels of college coaches. I know that one underclassmen received 6 D-1 offers. Great weather. My thanks to Kent State football for letting me wander.
- College camps - Be early. Get measurements done. Watch for the coaches to walk around.Try to introduce yourself. Smile, but don't gush over coaches. Face to face. More than yes/no answers. Evaluate them, as well. Mom and dad let ur son talk. Say-Thank you. First impression - HUGE
- Last night at Canton, I watched Jay'Quan Bostic (2024) from Cincinnati Taft. Rated him very good FS. After last night, he will be one of MSRโs top wide receivers. Tremendous concentration. Tremendous hands. Excellent catch radius. Talking with him, he seems to be a class act.
- Seniors who are still waiting for that "Power 5 " offer, but have none, and probably, will not see one. Listen to high academic schools. Make use of ur high grades and enjoy playing competitive football. The NCAA is a MESS. Find a good school and enjoy. Football is football.
- Tavien St Clair 2025 -O-state commit won a QB award in Las Vegas. Most Accurate. Nice , but for all young QB's Tavien trained in a tough strength program 10th grade year. Also, he did not spend money on the QB guru. His high school QB coach is good. Develop core muscles.
- Have watched Mike McCray Jr since his freshman days at Trotwood Madison. Tremendous young man. Former Michigan captain. Coaches OLB's at UMass. Recruits Ohio. Blessed to see him at some of the High School Recruit Days. One of the perks of what I have done for over 30 years. Class
