- Replying to @Sorelle_ArduinoShe saved the name. Pelicot was her husband’s name and it would have otherwise been associated with horrible abuse. But it was also her children’s names. By making her identity public, the world now associates the name with HER - and with strength and dignity. She’s a great mom!
- I watched the JonBenet documentary on Netflix and I generally believe it was a intruder. But I have doubts. The show didn’t sufficiently explain the long and rambling ransom note or even address the pineapple she’d eaten a couple of hours before she died. Any theories on those?
- The more I handle domestic violence cases and the more victims who ask me to dismiss charges b/c they rely on their abusers for their basic needs, the more I’m committed to financial independence for women. Raise your daughters to be independent. Their lives could depend on it.
