Our hearts are saddened by the loss of former Dutch player and current Dutch MS baseball coach Aden De Jong.
Aden had a contagious joy that left a positive impact on anyone he interacted with. We are all thankful to have been blessed by Aden.

- Dutch win season opener at SC East, 7-4. Kaleb Koerselman 2-for-2 w/ 2 BB’s & 2 SB’s to pace the offense. Kooper Huss scored 3x & Dutch total 9 hits. Carson Jager earned the W in 4.2 ip, w/5 k’s. Brooks McCarty picked up the save w/5 k’s in 2.1 hitless innings. #GoDutch⚾️
- DUTCH WIN!! Punching a ticket to the State 3A tourney in Iowa City next week with a 1-0 Substate Final victory! Colton K and Kleyton D were nails on the bump tonight, tossing a shutout with 8 k’s ! Colton K also drives home our lone run in the 4th inning! #GODUTCH⚾️
- Dutch Baseball starts 2021 in the win column! Two crooked numbers in the 3rd and 4th lead to a 16-0 W! Kleyton D was sharp in first outing, allowing 1 hit and K’ing 5. Austin O ended it w/ a Grand Slam to earn himself Player of the Game! #GODUTCH⚾️
- Dutch win their District semi-final, by a score of 8-1 at home tonight! Hitters all executed up & down the lineup, while Kael A led the way by barreling up 3 hits and driving in two. Carson J was perfect thru 4 ip, and only let up 1 run on 4 hits, adding 4 k’s! #GODUTCH⚾️
- UNDEFEATED SIOUXLAND CONFERENCE CHAMPS! Dutch push 3 across in the top of the 7th to win 6-3 at WL. Brooks McCarty 2-3 & drives in 3. Blake Aalbers 2-2, drives in 1. Cole Pottebaum & Nathan Anderson score twice. Thatcher Doughan gets W throwing 2 scoreless in relief of K. Diehl.
- Dutch win their season opener, 11-1 in 5 inn. Kooper Huss, Austin Oolman, and Blake Aalbers each notch two hits. Carson Jager goes 3 2/3 ip, allowing one hit and striking out 8 on the mound… while also hitting a 3-run jack in the 2nd for Player of the Game honors! #GODUTCH
- Happy Birthday!!! Brookkkkkkkkkkkkks McCarty tosses a no hitter - striking out 13 & allowing one base runner as the Dutch defeat Sioux Center 10-0. McCarty & Aalbers 1-2 at the plate while Heller drives in 3. C Pottebaum & Carter Van Gelder each drive in 2. Dutch move to 6-0
- DUTCH ⚾️ falls to @SBL_Baseball in the 3A Substate game, 6-1. Congrats to all the Dutch players on a great season! Our coaches are extremely thankful for the season @IHSAA allowed our players to enjoy this summer! Best of luck to @SBL_Baseball in Des Moines! #GODUTCH⚾️

- Dutch win!! 10-3 over Central Lyon tonight in Orange City. Wede, Jager, Korver and Oolman all notched hits. Jager and Arends each stole a pair of bases. Brooks McCarty goes 4.1 ip, allowing one hit, while punching out 12. Oolman struck out 4 in 2.2 relief inn. #GoDutch⚾️
