- A @MNNationalGuard and @MinneapolisPD neighborhood security team was fired upon early Sunday morning in a drive-by shooting near Penn Avenue and Broadway in Minneapolis.
- More than 1,000 additional Citizen-Soldiers and Airmen are activating today. This is in addition to the 700 that were on duty as of late last night. This represents the largest domestic deployment in the Minnesota’s National Guard’s 164-year history.
- Minnesota @GovTimWalz has announced the full mobilization of the @MNNationalGuard for the first time since World War II. We are "all-in" to restore order and maintain and keep the peace in Minnesota.
- Minnesota Guardsmen took some time while they were out on duty today to assist in cleaning up the community. We’re committed to restoring order and helping to maintain the peace.
- Minnesota National Guard Soldiers and Airmen stood guard overnight alongside local law enforcement, protecting Minnesota’s Capitol area. Throughout the night, Soldiers and Airmen completed 18 missions to include providing security for hospitals and escorting ambulances.
