A wonderful kid, son, brother, student, teammate, athlete. Right now we hurt. We hurt for the Colling’s. We hurt for each other. We have the best communities and surrounding communities pouring in love and support. Thank you.

- Kam and his family have transitioned to the rehab center and he’s already getting to work! Keep fighting young man. Thank you to our Royals community and all of the surrounding communities that have reached out with your support of this young man thus far.
- Standing here teary eyed after a difficult first practice back. The amount of support area teams have shown is immense. What a wonderful place we live. Thank you.Tomorrow night when we take the floor for our game vs Council Bluffs AL, our players and coaches will be showing support for the Colling family, @MMCRUBBALL, and the MMCRU community by wearing a blue ribbon on our shoes. 💙👑
- A little team bonding in lieu of practice today. Took in some good ball games. Good evening after a tough day. Love this group.
- Fell to a very strong West Sioux squad tonight in game 4 for the week 62-36. Great to see Sr. Kamden Steffen get back in the book with a score to finish the week off right.
00:00 - The fellas set out to do something nearly impossible tonight and fought their tails off. I couldn’t be more proud to coach these young men. Many tears in the locker room and came out stronger together. Thank you Hinton for your support tonight.
- On a much more positive note, I couldn’t be more proud to be from small town Iowa. Gehlen students were dressed in blue for Kamden Steffen and even their basketball squad warmed up in “Kam Strong” shirts as well. An incredible gesture from Coach Langel and his squad.

- Kams current health situation is weighing heavy on our young men and coaches, but tomorrow starts our new campaign. We will be extra focused and inspired to work our hardest every day, the way Kam does every single time he enters the gym. We love you kid, keep fighting.
- Congratulations Cade Pepper for being honored at halftime of the state championship. His class of honorees from all 4 classes in Iowa had an average of a 4.0 GPA, 28+ ACT, and 15ppg. Way to represent our school in incredible fashion. Cade is leaving a strong legacy at MMCRU.
- Congratulations Lady Royals. To the ship!
- Great practice after a big win last night. But we were reminded again how much bigger the game of life is than the game of basketball. Kamden was able to practice for the first time this season (though very limited) and was grinning ear to ear the entire day.
- Your Royals drop to 7-14 after a highly contested 51-50 ball game with a solid KP club. It was a special night nonetheless as Kamden Steffen was able to suit up with the fellas to end the regular season and even score a bucket. Thank you KP for the awesome gesture. Go Royals
- Fantastic season by our lady Royals. Be proud of how well you represented our Royals community. It was a pleasure to watch you girls all year. Best of luck to Jaylen and Mollie as they head onto their new adventures after graduation. Go Royals.
