- We won. I am humbled, honored, and grateful. I pledge to work every day to live up to the responsibility placed in me. I will defend our rights. I will protect our democracy. And I will deliver the help working and middle class families need. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
- Whirlwind 24 hours. I’m already in D.C. getting oriented. Just ran into someone from our corner of the country who I respect so much: Congresswoman Mary Peltola of Alaska. Looking forward to working with her to deliver for our districts!
- The recount Joe Kent requested is done. He lost again. He still hasn’t accepted the result of this election like he promised, but he did announce he’s running again in 2024. Big sigh. In 2 weeks I’ll take office and look forward to serving everyone no matter who they voted for.

- Friday’s count is done and we’re beating Joe Kent by 4,959 votes. Nearly all of the remaining ballots in #WA03 will be counted tomorrow. Joe Kent and I have both repeatedly pledged to accept the results of this election. That moment is coming soon.
- Today’s count is done and we’re beating Joe Kent by 5,882 votes. 4 out of 5 remaining ballots are in Clark County where we lead 57% to 43%. Joe Kent has repeatedly stated he’ll accept the result of this election, win or lose. So have I, and I look forward to a smooth transition.

Joe Kent gave voice to some of the darkest impulses in our politics: white nationalism, xenophobia, and authoritarianism. Southwest Washington looked them straight in the eye and said no — not here, not now, not ever.
- Right-to-repair is one of the big reasons I ran for Congress. I’m talking to everybody I can about it. It’s about being able to fix and maintain your own stuff. It’s about making things last. We’re going to pass a right-to-repair bill. DIY is in our DNA.
