Saddened to see messages on social media suggesting our wards are empty and pressures we say we’re facing are fictional. We’re treating ⬆️ No’s of pts with COVID-19 @QAHospitalNews. Our staff are doing an incredible job under a great deal of pressure. Please don’t disrespect them

It’s a huge privilege to be joining @MFTnhs as Group CEO early next year. I’m looking forward to working with an established leadership team, with some of the best clinicians and staff in the #NHS. I started my NHS career in Greater Manchester and it’s great to be returning.

While I’m excited to take on my new role @NHSEngland, overseeing the implementation and delivery of the NHS Long Term Plan, today is also tinged with sadness knowing I’ll be saying goodbye to many friends and colleagues within @QAHospitalNews, and across @hiowstp #proudtobePHU
Congratulations to our Chief Executive @MCubbonNHS who has been appointed Director for Long Term Plan Delivery and Deputy Chief Operating Officer at @NHSEngland. More on our website here: porthosp.nhs.uk/news/chief-exe…

The CQC publishes their recent inspection report today. It demonstrates great progress with improvements delivered by everyone who works at PHT. We still have more to do, but its a great platform to deliver even better outcomes for our patients in the future. @QAHospitalNews

I’m very proud to have been Chief Executive of PHU and to work alongside so many talented people. From today @PennyEmNHS will do an amazing job as Chief Executive, working with a fantastic leadership team and at least 8,000 of the best people in the NHS.Thank you. @QAHospitalNews

1yr ago today we were rated ‘Good’ by the CQC for the 1st time. Little did we know at that point about the year which lay ahead. If there was a rating to describe the enormity of the effort applied by every member of @QAHospitalNews - it would simply be ‘Exceptional’. #yourNHS

A difficult week for all @QAHospitalNews and for our partners. Thanks to everyone who has supported us, especially those in our local community. It matters a great deal to know you’re behind us. #YourNHS #COVID19

Our Hospital Hub opened its doors this morning and has been providing pre-booked vaccinations since. I’m so grateful for the hard work of those who have pulled together to get this up and running so quickly. Thank you. @QAHospitalNews #proudtobePHU #NHS #OneTeam #COVID19Vaccine

It’s amazing to see so many positive messages about #ItsASin. It has broad appeal, but I suspect it resonates deeply with those of us who were growing up at the time and lost people we knew, years before their time. Fantastic work. La. @russelldavies63 👏👏👏 🏳️‍🌈

Our first iPads arrived on some wards this week and we’re ordering more, so our patients can communicate with their loved ones via Zoom or FaceTime, with support of our Family Liaison Officers and other staff. @QAHospitalNews @hcdocherty1 @Suemetcalfe12 @LiZRix_PHT #forpatients

Only 1 in 10 #nurses in England are men. #bbc With so many vacancies across the country we need to find a way of attracting more men into the profession and changing the outdated stereotypes. Good to know there’s a lot of work underway to change this.@MRadford_DONi @RMayNurseDir
