    We’re installing mobi-mats on several park beaches, making them more accessible for everyone to enjoy! These non-slip mats allow for easier beach access, including people with wheelchairs, walkers and elderly visitors, or parents with strollers. 🏖️ #ManitobaParks #AccessibleMB

    We’re making Pisew Falls #MBParks more accessible! #AccessibleMB Work has begun to replace the aging staircases and boardwalk with a granular path. This path will feature a handrail and will allow for wheelchair access to the viewing platforms.

    This Halloween, keep your pumpkins out of parks. Dumping pumpkins for wildlife can cause animals to become reliant on unnatural food sources, and encourages animals to congregate, increasing the risk of disease transmission. It puts wildlife in harms way near roads and trails.

    Snakes of Narcisse Update 🐍 manitoba.ca/narcissesnakes The first few snakes have started to emerge at the Narcisse snake dens, with a small number of snakes observed at Dens 2 and 3. Warm, sunny days are best for viewing snakes.

    Cedar Bog Trail in Birds Hill Provincial Park has reopened. New sections of boardwalk have been installed to protect this special ecosystem. Please stay on trail and use boardwalks where provided. Additional sections of boardwalk will be installed next year. #ManitobaParks
