- I took my mom to the @WhiteHouse reception for new Members of Congress. We met President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. As an immigrant from Mexico, I don’t think my mom ever thought she’d be invited to the White House to meet the President!
- The next Mayor of LA has always supported Dreamers and will continue to fight for permanent protections for them. #HomeIsHereLos Angeles is a city that thrives BECAUSE of the contributions of our Dreamers. The lives of hundreds of thousands of people are in limbo because Republican Senators that my opponent has funded refuse to act. I’m running for mayor to ensure that everyone knows #HomeIsHere.
