Hi! We're so excited to officially announce the upcoming release of The Lost Broadcasts! We're a monthly podcast about TV shows created in the wake of Lost that tried and failed to recapture its magic. Our first episode, on the 2005 series Invasion, will release this Thursday!

i mean they did also cancel TV shows very early in their runs in the 2000s. that was a pretty significant thing that happened. like i understand where you're coming from here but they did very much cancel TV shows very early in their runs in the 2000s
TV 20 years ago: "it starts out clunky but if you suffer through the first 45 episodes it starts to almost get good!"
TV now: "If this 8hrs of tv doesn't break all viewing records within the first 20 minutes of its release we're going to shoot the cast"
The Event had a number of these bizarre character posters. some of them seemed to refer directly to the concept of an Event, others cannot be explained by any means
the other option we were considering for our banner image this month was this cast photo of the main family in Terra Nova. and we couldn't stop laughing because it looks exactly like the photo used by a news report after the dad annihilates the whole family
we didn't get into it on the episode, but one thing that FOR SURE helped sink The River was they missed the cultural window of ubiquitous ARGs. this is a show that YEARNS to be watched alongside a website for a fictitious travel agency whose tour boats recovered the Footage
Hey everyone, Low Res Nathan Fillion here. Esther and Hannah are still figuring out what The Event is, so they asked me to share one of my favorite clips from the TV show Drive, which I'm from. Check out this unbelievably sick car crash stunt. This was on network TV in 2007!
next month on The Lost Broadcasts, we take a deep-dive into........a piece of children's educational software from the 90s??
episode 7 - "Flight 29 Down"
