This game deserves way more attention than it's getting.
Seriously, this is one of the best survival horror games in awhile, in a year filled with amazing survival horror games, and that's coming from someone who doesn't like other Amnesia titles.
Fun fact:
Did you know that as long as the generator is running in Amnesia: The Bunker there's something called a "Shepard Tone" running at very low volume in the background. A shepard tone basically creates an illusion of a sound that continously ascends or descends. (1/4)

One little thing that we cut from the early version of Amnesia: The Bunker was the "stalker trapping mechanic" - where the stalker would sometimes place fuel outside of a hole and wait for the player to go for it.

But man... those last weeks leading up to release were stressful! You've lived with (1/4)
In Amnesia: The Bunker we went with a descending version of the shepard tone, adding to the feeling of the generator fuel running out. The volume is intentionally set extremely low, almost making it sub-conscious, and you need to listen really carefully in order to hear it. (3/4)
Our hope is that this detail helps adding tension for times when you are playing with the lights on. In addition we believe the contrast of no longer hearing the shepard tone helps adding punch to the moments when the lights suddenly go out. (4/4)
