Why are people making a big deal about @jakeow hitting his desk? Love that shit. Shows emotions, he cares, and is frustrated. In an industry that is being compared to traditional sports, would love to see more of it and other great moments like it.

- POE2 is going to be a huge market test. Most game devs have been leaning pretty heavily towards cookie cutter, cute, safe, simple, everyone wins and anyone can play it type of games POE2 seems challenging, dark, gritty, hard, complex, and at times frustrating I think the
- Despite what may or may not be in the rules and how they are interpreted, this ruling is bad for the League, bad for fun, bad for innovation, bad for viewers/fans. I can understand Paris/League officials perspective, but rules should be reevaluated imo.
- May Melee for OWL had more hero diversity and team styles partly because of hero pools. During hero pools teams learned what was good or bad for their team/players and were forced to experiment. After everything was unlocked they were more confident to play to their strengths.
- When I first joined EG me and Geoff were both stubborn and young. After we both left EG we grew closer and supported each other mutually, talked, and confided in one another. - Every time Esports is shown on ESPN there is a debate I don't know one person from our industry that gives a shit if it's called a sport
- I miss forums. I miss the communal feeling. The nuance, the debates, the discussions, the learning, and growing. Perspective, mutual respect, being challenged to prove your point, provide your logic, convince and persuade. Social media is everyone yelling as loud as they can.
