Barbara Bush's Secret Service detail, several of whom have been been with her for decades, refuse to leave her side until she is buried. Very powerful.

An NFC coach texted me today. He said when news of the Deandre Hopkins trade hit the coaches' meeting, the entire room burst into laughter.

The Texans should legitimately feel cheated. Just horrible, impactful calls swung this game. The Texans could have been better in several areas, but those were egregious calls. And if you follow me, you know this might be my first-ever “refs” tweet.

You alienate Deshaun, you lose the locker-room. You alienate Andre Johnson, you lose everyone who ever played for the organization.

Tired, wet, but satisfied. Got 18-20 people, two dogs and three horses. Not sure how much it helped, but glad I was there. Inspiring.

24-0 vs. Chiefs in the playoffs. 23-7 vs. Lions tonight. Two most embarrassing losses in Texans history.

Schloss wants you to believe that in a matter of 12- to 18-hours, Pierce was fired, Del Conte reached out to him, then he got an offer, contemplated the offer, had his people negotiate a contract, convinced his staff to leave with him and then decided to take the job.
Jim Schlossnagle said he had no discussions with Texas folks during the 2024 season. Kind of backtracked and said he talks with CDC all the time because they are friends but said he never talked about it with him.
