This is the Dex Entry when I caught a Shiny Shinx! A subtle gender difference for Shinx, the back paws are all black when male and blue/yellow when female! I thought I caught a girl, but the game's shiny female texture was on the male model So I made this story! ✨

I wrote stories and drew my girl Pikachu since I was a kid with a thunderbolt tail. Since the game forced the change gen 4 onward, I imagined a story like this, that she chose it herself. And that it made her happy! 💖 (3/4)

Pikachu are known for their thunderbolt tails, but it wasn't until Gen 4 that female Pikachu would get a heart tail. Ten years after the first game.⚡️❤️ (2/4)

I liked this scene as a kid. That destiny stuff always got me. Because in a way, it explains why Oak helped Ash more than others, that hidden friendship. Plus it goes further with Ash and Pikachu destined to be best buds. Oak meeting Ash later, he would know to give him Pikachu.
