I find it truly astounding that this woman thinks it perfectly normal and acceptable to be claiming benefits for mild anxiety while TALKING ON LIVE TV. Nobody should get benefits for anxiety, especially those that can travel to a studio, sit in an audience and talk on TV.

It's been very good of the Met Police today to demonstrate exactly what Braverman meant by two tier policing. 80 White counter protestors arrested by police in riot gear meanwhile men dressed as Hamas, people chanting for genocide and people carrying swastikas just carry on.

This is simple. Can police officers accept gifts? No. Can planning officers accept gifts? No. Can traffic wardens accept gifts? No. So why should MP's be able to?

Tweeted this yesterday and then a load of people pointed out they do have a problem with the gifts themselves, because MPs legislated/regulated to ban huge swathes of workers like them from accepting such gifts, due to the risk of corruption. Which is a fair point.

I'm going to be seeking to progress a new Bill through Parliament that would allow the people to directly call a General Election when the vast majority have lost faith in the Government. It's a scar on our democracy that there's currently no mechanism for people to do this.

Both the Labour MPs denied entry to Israel are constituency MPs. They are not in Government. They are not diplomats. Why are they doing anything in Israel? They should be in their constituencies helping the people that voted for them.
