- One of those amazing moments in life to savour, our first grandchild arrived earlier than expected early this morning 😍. Looking forward to seeing her for the first time tomorrow. I know what you're thinking, I don't look old enough 🤣.
- Delighted to say I have been given the green light for the return of Local Report this Friday. Thank you @BBCNorfolk. For obvious reasons, no studio guests for now but looking forward to plenty of chat. Feel free to get in touch with your Club news throughout the season.
- Huge thanks to all the local footy clubs, managers, players who have been such a big help to me throughout the past season. The main thing is well done for all your hard work, without which local football would struggle more than it has at times. Hope you enjoy a (short) rest!
- Merry Christmas all. As ever, many thanks to everyone who has contributed to Local Report and to all managers, players, officials I may have bugged throughout the year. Big thanks also to all the volunteers who help make clubs tick, you are invaluable. Best wishes too for 2019.

- Very sad news indeed to hear of the passing of Paul Chick. An immense character and a real pillar of local football. Thoughts go to Paul's family and friends at such a difficult time.
