I wish people would stop doing the "rich people can handle it just fine" thing. This woman is expressing deep love for her neighbors––she knows them all by name: who was recently widowed, who lost their parents, where each person's kids went to school. That community she's spent
I don’t think I’ve watched a video of these fires that has captured the meaning of home so completely. Pray for these people. 💙

Beautiful baby boy! I've mentioned on here, but haven't really announced it: My husband and I are expecting another son this winter. He has a disability; we believe it to be manageable. We love him dearly. The heaviness of the diagnosis (and the unknowns), the endless tests,

This therapist is bad. Duty is draining. Taking care of others is draining. Selfishness culture has gone way too far.
my therapist said this to me, and it hit me like a brick “if it drains you, it’s not for you. love, friendships, jobs, anything meant for you will nourish you, not exhaust you. 1/2

What a classy guy. This man posted rather nastily, over and over, about me on the internet, then when I confronted him in person and told him to stop, couldn't maintain eye contact with me. He is exactly who he seems. A coward w no moral fiber whatsoever. Pray that he changes.

I don't think the Zohran stans realize just how fucked this city will be when all the high-earners migrate out to Jersey and Connecticut. You cannot act so entitled to other people's earnings and expect them to not put up a fight.

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Joe Biden's physical deterioration was so severe that advisers privately discussed the possibility he'd need to use a wheelchair if he won re-election, @jaketapper and @AlexThomp write in their new book. axios.com/2025/05/13/bid…

NYC hates its child population. Encountered ANOTHER padlocked playground (it was 45 degrees out). Hopped the fence w my friend, liberated my son, and 25 other kids took little boosts from us to hop the fence. Joy. Then the city said they'd fine me & they needed to see my ID.
Safetyism in New York City has gone WAY too far. My child was wearing wool layers & a Finnish snowsuit, ready for an evening of play at Madison Square Park. The city padlocked the playground due to "snow & ice"—as if parents can't judge the safety for themselves! @FreeRangeKids

Call me crazy but I think the gay sex car of the Mexico City subway is actually a bad thing, and that public transit should not be a place for public sex. No amount of "our human rights are being violated" will change my mind.

    Replying to @TSA_Northeast @SyracuseAirport and @TSA
I am curious: Did any of these items end up containing anything that would've threatened the lives of plane passengers? Or is this just bragging about arbitrary confiscation of people's property, at a time when it's harder for families to afford food, drinks, & toiletries?

Really disturbing that prominent journalists can falsely accuse @elonmusk of being a racist, a white nationalist, motivated by white supremacy, and we just largely accept this as normal.

Every time I try to take my kid to storytime in Brooklyn it's always THIS TYPE OF BOOK. Can't we just read classics like Where the Wild Things Are (a great book about monsters and the importance of obeying yr mother) or Go Dog Go (about traffic laws and treetop parties)?

A reminder that the vast majority of Americans are quite moderate on the issue of abortion; most are in favor of abortion super early in a pregnancy, then oppose it in the second trimester, and are broadly morally uncomfortable w it, and w what the procedure entails.
