NOBODY likes traffic, especially on Friday. But did you know you could bypass it all on a bike? The City Centre to almost anywhere inside the M50 is doable in 30mins! Not everyone can cycle but it could save time if you can H/T Joan (@clicky_here) & Neil OLeary (@GalwayCycling)

North Circular Road heading westbound towards Doyle's Corner is the busiest we've seen it in a long, long time. Even pre-lockdown this would be a major day. It's backed up all the way to Croke Park. Expect major delays by car, or a 6 min cycle. @TFIupdates @DubCityCouncil

Ormonde Quay Upper, with heavy traffic in the vehicle lanes, alongside a protected cycle lane.

We've been seeing a big bump in volume on the roads in the past couple of weeks, and one thing has become clear: cycling is usually the better option. Not everyone can cycle, but if you do cycle (or would like to start) get in touch so we can share your story! @dublincycling
Here's my round trip from Cabra to UCD - at peak hour car traffic (8.30am and around 5pm). E-bike assisted. - 9km each way. - Average speed 20km/h. - Around 27mins each way. This would take well over an hour each way in a car.

    We think bikes are neat.
Wait for the punchline: Dublin traffic report warns of the worst traffic seen for a long time, major delays by car...or a six-minute cycle road.cc/286543 #cycling
