- Mayor Adams has forgotten that NYC has always been the international capital of the world, built and strengthened by citizens of the world. Given that he has badly betrayed the people of New York, he must step down. If not, we need Governor Hochul to remove him to save our city.

- Parents are calling for a remote option for school and it’s time @NYCSchools provided one. Many families don’t feel safe sending their kids to physical school right now. The stubborn lack of receptiveness to legitimate safety concerns raises questions about mayoral control.
- We passed legislation to at long last reduce class sizes. This is a huge victory for NYC school kids that will provide students with a sound basic education. Combined w/ $1.6B in ADDITIONAL ANNUAL state funding for @NYCSchools, this is a FUNDED mandate!
- Governor’s proposed IOU was nothing more than a pinky promise that the bond market would NEVER believe let alone finance, and would have been the nail in the coffin for congestion pricing. No thanks!
- The naked attempt to remove the cap on charters in NYC is a nonstarter. The cap has historically served to strike the balance between giving parents so-called “choice” & the constitutional requirement to keep public schools open, and it’s not common sense to upset that balance.
- Last night I saw someone break into a SoHo store, smashing boards and windows. Young marchers immediately chased the looter away and guarded the store until police arrived. @NYCMayor says marchers are not the looters but then directs police force against marchers.
