Unfortunately it’s super rare to find an artist who will ask those types of questions. I usually have to give a photo reference of the hairstyle or type I want because most non poc artists don’t know the difference between curl patterns and don’t both to learn. So yes, it SHOULD

I wish I could feel bad for you but you don’t have to give an artist an AI generated image of what you want EXACTLY. You can just send a bunch of references and work with the artist until you get exactly what you’re looking for from them. A good artist can bring your vision to
