Serving as MPP for the Riding of Huron-Bruce, as well as Ontario Minister of Rural Affairs is truly the honour of a lifetime. I take this responsibility very seriously and I thank Premier Ford and the people of Huron-Bruce for placing their trust in me once again.

The Ontario government saved $25 million in one year in part by eliminating free food at cabinet & committee meetings. Tighter hospitality, meals and travel rules will be extended to the broader public sector, including agencies, in the new year torontosun.com/news/provincia…

No Canadian prime minister has spent more money (per person, inflation-adjusted) or accumulated more debt (per person), outside a world war or recession, than Prime Minister Trudeau,” estimated the Fraser Institute in April.

As students prepare to head back to school I am pleased to share that our Government will protect free speech at Ontario colleges and universities. We will be introducing a free speech policy by January 1, 2019.

What did we get in exchange for 15 yrs of Lib mismanagement that added $200 billion to Ontario's debt. Did your health care double in quality? Did our education prepare students with life & job skills? Sadly we now have jobs without people!

Our Government is committed to ensuring Ontario’s students become world leaders in education once again, and leave school with the tools they need to get jobs, pay bills and start families right here in Ontario.
Our government will not be distracted from making the necessary reforms to create a sustainable, world-class education system that protects what matters most for students. #OntEd #onpoli torontosun.com/opinion/column…

Do you think it’s fair that multi-national companies have a monopoly on beer sales? We don't! Our government believes people who call small towns and villages like #Belgrave home deserve choice & convenience when buying beer and wine. It’s the fair thing to do!

There has been speculation around the issue of full day kindergarten. Let me be clear, we are absolutely committed to full day learning for four and five year olds across the province. news.ontario.ca/edu/en/2019/02… #onted #onpoli

This is unacceptable! As the Toronto District School Board was complaining about school funding changes, board officials were going ahead with a contract to spend more than $5 million buying new high-end iPhone handsets.

Ontario is standing with farmers and food processors against the carbon tax. Together Ontario's agriculture and food industry is calling on the federal Liberal government to pause the 23% carbon tax hike as a first step towards eliminating this tax. #OntAg #GrowingONTogether
